The California Association of Alcohol and Drug Program Executives [CAADPE] has received a grant from the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment [CSAT] for consumer advocacy development. We are evaluating the impact of monthly Fact Blast bulletins for clients covering topics such as Hepatitis C, confidentiality and other issues of concern to treatment program clients.

Surveys attached to these information sheets solicit opinions on topics selected by consumer councils. Recent survey topics have included health insurance coverage, Proposition 36 and mandated treatment, confidentiality, cultural competence and domestic violence.
